Retail Ready Career Center Hosts Tornado Relief Drive

Tornado strikes late Saturday, April 29, have killed 5 people and left dozens injured. Although volunteers are not yet needed at this time, there are several ways people can help.  Retail Ready Career Center will be collecting the following items to help the victims and families of those affected by the storms:

  • Bottled Water
  • Gatorade/ Powerade
  • Non-Perishable Food Items
  • Toiletry Items
  • Heavy Duty Contractor Trash Bags
  • Plastic Storage Containers
  • Flash Lights and Batteries
  • Work Gloves
  • Baby Wipes
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Clothing & Socks
  • Gift Cards/Gas Cards
  • Tarps
  • School Supplies


Donation Pick Up Dates: Friday, May 5 Friday, May 12

Please drop off your donations at Retail Ready Career Center

Monday- Friday from 8am – 6pm



Please Help By Donating As Much As You Can, Every Item and Donation Makes a Huge Difference! Donations will be accepted throughout May 1- May 12. All donations will be delivered to the Van Zandt County Fire Marshall and Emergency Management Department in Canton, TX.
